My Ipod has been giving me real trouble ever sice I bought it. And the other day I dropped it on to concrete Whoops and now the hard drive just makes a horrible grinding noise and thes screen shows a sad ipod face.
The iPOD does suffer from this the design technology seems to have ignored the fact that the builtin Hard Drive is very sensitive to knocks and falls. To me this is real deception since the device is marketed as a quottake anywhere and withstand anythingquot type of entertainment device. brbrI know its too late for yours, but as a minimum, I would recommend a belt strap and a tough rubber casing for your iPOD.

My husbands cell phone was dropped in some water and it no longer works. He has insurance that covers water damage. Sure can. You can use coax cables and run them to each tv in each different room. A lot of people do it that way. We have it like that. I guess it was very specifically placed. We have no idea by whom. But the battery is still very new and before we call the police, I want to try and track where the receiver is located. I know it cant be more than a few hundred feet. Every time I google I get ads to buy spy cameras. Can someone help?
It is not possible to track where the receiver is. The radio signal from the camera travels all directions. Anyone with a receiver on the correct frequency could tune in to the show. Maybe your friend was the floor show for a neighborhood yard party. .brbrMy guess is this was placed by a friend or family member who frequents the house often.brbrIt is next to impossible to find the guilty person. They already know your friend found the camera, because the view changed, so they will hide the receiver.

HI KT firstly I think it depends on whether it is a gas oven or electric oven?brbrIf it is gas then yes you MUST get a registered CORGI engineer to install it look in local phone book.brbrIf it is electric then you SHOULD get a qualified electrician to install it again look in local phone book.brbrActually replacing a fitted oven is very easy typically there are just a few screws holding the old one in place. If it is a floor level oven then you probably need to pull the skirting board along the bottom of the kitchen units off first this is normally just clipped on by plastic clips.brbrIf it is eye level oven then there it is easier but obviously ovens are heavy so care needs to be taken when pulling the old one out.brbrI am not sure why you would want to change from a fitted to freestanding? But you have to consider the space... typically a fitted with cupboards either side there is just enough space for the oven as the oven is insulated to stop the cupboards getting hot. With a freestanding you may find you have to leave a gap either side for air to get around the oven. This may mean the gap you have is no longer big enough?brbrBest thing to do is meausre the gap where your oven is now, then go down to Comet or Dixons or simliar and ask one of the people in there.

The heating element a big metal loop behind the drum probably died. A friend of mine opened up her drier and was able to buy a new one and install it herself. Yes lots of things trigger off the doorbell, keys for central locking cars can be one thing but we live near an elderly and very forgetful relative who we bought a devise that helps locate missing items. you have to press a button on a remote control and it sets of the bleeper on the bag purse keys or whatever. We know when something is missing because our doorbell rings over and over again. we have three settings on our bell also and we have it set at plain old ding dong but when it is set off by another device it plays one of these big tunes, quite funny really.

My digital camera takes pictures with a greenish hue. How do I fix this?
Ive got a Kodak DX digital camera that takes pictures fine, and, in fact, the pictures look great on the PC. But when printed at the printer, they seem to have a slightly greenish hue slight, but still there. Any idea how something like that can be corrected for future pictures taken with the camera?

If the print is still greenish then it might be the printer or ink. If it only happens when you print pictures you took with your camera then it may be related to the camera, software or printer. Check the print driver for information on tweaking the color profiles available to the printer. You might also want to print a few pictures on a Kodal Picture Maker kiosk to see if they are also greentinted.brbrThe newer kodak software, the Easyshare software currently in version , has a special printing software plugin called quotOne Touch to Better Picturesquot OTTBP. It basically tweaks your printer to work with Kodaks color science and Kodak paper. The best way to dry it out isbr. Get a lunch box, large enough to fit your iPod in and close the lid.br. Fill the bottom with alot of salt and when i say alot i mean loads.br. Fold up a towel or a paper towel and place and cover the salt.br. Then place the iPod on top and close the lid and leave for a few days.br The salt draws the moisture from the iPod and the towel absorbs it. This does work i have done it with loads of phones and mp players. brbrAlso circuit boards are washed when made, with components on. This is to clean the excess flux and grease from the board. So of components on the PCB should still be ok!
